Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through initial remote consultations, establishing a clear understanding of each client's unique situation.
- Evaluate clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological conditions using validated assessment tools, ensuring accurate documentation of findings throughout the treatment process.
- Develop tailored treatment plans, which may include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral modifications, and therapeutic exercises, catering to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.
- Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, to achieve the best outcomes and support recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to develop integrated treatment approaches.
- Provide follow-up care and referrals for clients needing additional resources or services, ensuring continuity in their mental health care.
- Offer support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to manage any mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
- Successful completion of the necessary national examinations (NCE/NCMHCE) and a proven track record of professional ethical practice.
- Exceptional proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for documenting client interactions and treatment progress.

Preferred Experience\n

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role within a community health setting.
- Familiarity with addiction treatment and the complexities of co-occurring disorders is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, enabling effective collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- A deep understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications on mental health treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
The position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, reflecting your qualifications and experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
