Job Requirements\n

    \n
  • At least 1 year of sleep lab experience required
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • \n

  • Sleep Technologist certification preferred; registry-eligible candidates welcomed
  • \n

  • Polysomnographic Technologist experience and/or credentials preferred
  • \n

  • Epic experience required
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and support a strong quality-focused workflow
  • \n

  • Must have been separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered
  • \n

Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Perform polysomnography studies to assess EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG, ventilation, and other physiological parameters during sleep
  • \n

  • Conduct overnight sleep studies and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests while maintaining quality assurance standards
  • \n

  • Titrate CPAP/BIPAP therapies as ordered and administer oxygen therapy as needed
  • \n

  • Monitor for cardiac dysrhythmias, respiratory events, seizures, and other patient safety concerns
  • \n

  • Collect and review patient information, complete questionnaires, and identify sleep/wake complaints
  • \n

  • Evaluate studies in real time, document findings, and prepare preliminary reports
  • \n

  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and adjust sleep lab equipment to ensure top-quality recordings
  • \n

  • Recognize artifacts and abnormal clinical manifestations and respond appropriately
  • \n

  • Support continuing education, quality improvement, and department-wide service standards
  • \n

  • Maintain courteous, professional interactions with patients and colleagues
  • \n
