Job Description

Job Description
Chelmsford Behavioral Health, LLC | Massachusetts

Chelmsford Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and independently licensed Psychotherapist (LICSW or LMHC) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice.

We are looking for a clinician who wants to build a long-term career in a supportive, collaborative practice where clinical care comes first. Our administrative team handles credentialing, billing, scheduling support, and other operational responsibilities so you can focus on your patients.

What We Offer

  • Full-time W-2 position
  • Competitive compensation with earning potential of $6,000–$8,000+ per month, based on caseload and productivity
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Hybrid work environment with both telehealth and in-office options
  • Administrative support with credentialing, insurance enrollment, billing, and practice operations
  • Referrals and new patient assignments to help you build your caseload
  • Professional autonomy and the ability to develop a caseload that fits your clinical interests
  • Collaborative environment with psychiatric providers and other behavioral health professionals
  • Opportunity for long-term professional growth within an established and expanding practice
  • Supportive administrative staff so you can spend more time providing clinical care and less time managing paperwork and practice operations

Schedule & Caseload

This is a full-time position with an expected long-term caseload of approximately 30 patient hours per week once your schedule is fully established.

We understand that a new clinician's caseload does not become full overnight. Patient hours will build gradually as referrals and new patient assignments are received.

You will have flexibility in developing your weekly schedule while meeting the clinical needs of your patients and the expectations of a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and/or adults
  • Develop and maintain a consistent outpatient caseload
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and evidence-based standards of care
  • Participate in a collaborative clinical environment
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered psychotherapy

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current, unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC license
  • Independent clinical licensure with the ability to practice without clinical supervision
  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
  • Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
  • Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team

Why Join Chelmsford Behavioral Health?

At Chelmsford Behavioral Health, we believe clinicians do their best work when they have professional autonomy, flexibility, clinical support, and reliable administrative infrastructure.

You will not be expected to build a private practice from scratch or spend your time navigating insurance credentialing and administrative tasks. Our team supports the operational side of the practice so you can focus on what matters most: providing excellent care to your patients.

As a full-time clinician, you will have the opportunity to build a stable caseload, develop long-term relationships with patients, and grow professionally within an established behavioral health practice.
