Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical, compassionate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department that serves diverse patient needs, including trauma, stroke, psychiatric, and complex cardiac cases. This contract opportunity based in Derry, NH, offers skilled registered nurses the chance to apply their expertise in a dynamic, well-equipped setting with advanced technology such as ultrasound IV insertion, Lucas Device, Rapid Infuser, and Alaris pumps.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience required for contract roles
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and medical terminology skills
- Excellent communication and adaptability to changing patient needs
- Dependability and punctuality essential
- Preferred: knowledge of EKG interpretation and MOAB certification
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care across multiple patient populations, including cardiac, diabetic, trauma, stroke, and psychiatric cases
- Perform a wide range of procedures: trauma care, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma management, IV and IO insertion, eye exams, EKG monitoring, and cardiopulmonary support
- Follow policy-based protocols to order labs, x-rays, medications, and diagnostic tests to support initial patient assessment and treatment
- Collaborate with a diverse nursing team in a structured, secure environment holding both general and psychiatric patients
- Maintain precise use of equipment and electronic medical records (Sunrise/Allscripts)
Schedule:
- Every other weekend shift required
