Orientation: Bi-Weekly
Local Candidates: Accepted (must live 50+ miles from facility)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a Winter Surge assignment at a reputable 100-bed acute care facility in Exeter, NH. This is a fast-moving 8-week contract with a hard end date of February 28 and a mandatory start date of December 29. Ideal candidates will be highly adaptable, clinically strong, and ready to support increased seasonal patient volumes.

Requirements

  • Active NH or Compact RN License (required)
  • 2+ years of recent MS/Tele experience
  • BLS – AHA (required)
  • Epic EMR experience (required)
  • Must live 50+ miles from the facility (locals allowed beyond 50 miles)
  • Must be able to start 12/29 with no exceptions
  • No BILH separation restriction for Winter Surge needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
  • Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
  • Administer medications, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and document in Epic
  • Support surge-level census demands with flexibility and strong clinical judgment
