Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for overseeing construction projects across various locations, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves traveling to job sites, managing staff, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of construction sites across various locations
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work
  • Manage on-site personnel and provide guidance and leadership to construction teams
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Report project status to upper management and address any issues that arise

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Strong background in ground-up retail construction projects
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel frequently to job sites across different locations
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction
