Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) is needed for a full academic school year contract with a K-12 educational setting in Lawrence, MA. This position offers an opportunity to support students physical development and well-being in a dynamic learning environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license and credentials.
- Experience providing PT services within a school setting, preferably K-12.
- Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy needs and educational standards.
- Ability to develop and implement therapeutic interventions that promote student independence and participation.
- Excellent munication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations to assess student physical therapy needs.
- Designing individualized treatment plans and monitoring progress.
- Collaborating with school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Documenting services and maintaining pliance with school and state regulations.
- Participating in meetings with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers as needed.
