Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Part-Time Nights
Location: Peterborough, NH
Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire
Schedule: Part-Time | Nights | 2 x 12-Hour Shifts
Position Summary:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides respiratory care and life-support services to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. This role involves administering treatments, operating respiratory equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory care and life-support treatments to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Operate and monitor ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP equipment.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
- Administer medications via nebulizers and metered-dose inhalers.
- Cross-train and assist with Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) studies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Serve as a resource within the Respiratory Therapy Department.
Qualifications Required:
- Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current Respiratory Therapist License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- ACLS Certification
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting at $40.00/hour (dependent on education and experience)
