Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Job Description
Job DescriptionEmbark on a meaningful journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Lebanon, New Hampshire. In this role, you’ll translate clinical skill into daily acts of care that protect dignity, promote independence, and support families through challenging moments. You’ll be at the heart of a warm, patient-centered team, guiding residents in maintaining comfort, safety, and quality of life. As you care for aging adults with diverse needs, you’ll develop deeper geriatric expertise, refine your clinical judgment, and grow within a specialty that honors both science and compassion. Lebanon’s picturesque surroundings—leafy streets, nearby lakes, and crisp seasonal beauty—offer an inviting home base where work feels meaningful and life outside work feels refreshing. And for those who crave variety, this opportunity also opens the door to travel across the United States, delivering care in a range of communities while maintaining a solid, supported base in New Hampshire.
Location Benefits:
Lebanon sits in the heart of New England, with convenient access to the Upper Valley’s cultural offerings, nature trails, and small-town warmth. You’ll collaborate with skilled professionals in well-respected long-term care facilities that emphasize person-centered plans, interdisciplinary teamwork, and resident advocacy. The region rewards curious clinicians with opportunities to expand skills in wound care, mobility support, medication management, delirium prevention, and dementia care planning. Beyond the walls of the facility, you’ll find scenic drives, the frontier landscape of the White Mountains within reach, and a community that understands the value of aging with dignity. For those drawn to broader horizons, the assignment structure provides the flexibility to work in varied locations across the U.S.—a chance to broaden your professional network, learn different care models, and return with fresh perspectives that enrich your practice.
Role Specifics and Benefits:
As the LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll perform essential duties including medication administration under supervision, routine assessments, vital signs monitoring, wound care, assistance with activities of daily living, and timely reporting of changes in residents’ conditions. You’ll support care planning, participate in rounds with RNs and physicians, document accurately, and advocate for residents’ safety and comfort. Opportunities for professional growth abound: specialized training in geriatric care, dementia care, infection prevention, palliative approaches, and certifications that enhance your scope and value. The package is designed to be competitive and rewarding: sign-on bonuses may be available, and housing assistance or included housing helps you settle quickly in the area. You’ll have the option to extend your contract, gaining continuity with a team that already values your contributions. This assignment provides substantial weekly pay in the range of $1,020 to $1,079, reflecting your skills and experience, with the understanding that hours are not guaranteed (0.0 guaranteed hours) and the schedule will be set to meet patient needs across the contract. You’ll never travel alone: our dedicated support team is available 24/7 to assist you during travel, coordinate logistics, and resolve issues so you can focus on compassionate care. Pre- and post-shift orientation, access to continuing education, and a network of fellow travelers help you stay informed, confident, and connected wherever your assignments take you.
Company Values:
Our partner organization is built on empowering staff, recognizing achievement, and fostering a culture of learning and teamwork. You’ll find a supportive environment that prioritizes career advancement, mentorship, and open communication. We believe great care grows from great people, and we’re committed to helping you build a durable, rewarding career in long-term care—whether you’re rooted in Lebanon or exploring new communities across the country.
