\n Seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to perform diagnostic cardiac imaging in a patient-focused critical access hospital.
\n Responsibilities:
\n Perform transthoracic, limited, contrast, and bubble echocardiograms
\n Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and diagnostic-quality images
\n Review patient history and recognize significant cardiac abnormalities
\n Communicate urgent findings when appropriate
\n Work with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
\n Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and surgical settings
\n Requirements:
\n Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
\n RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required
\n Current AHA BLS required
\n Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience
\n Travel experience required
\n Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic techniques
\n Assignment Details:
\n 13-week travel contract
\n 1 opening
\n Monday–Friday, four 8-hour day shifts/week
\n 32 hours/week guaranteed
\n No holiday coverage
\n EMR: Meditech
\n Start Date: September 14, 2026
\n No state license required
\n Travelers start on Wednesdays; orientation week may have reduced guaranteed hours for 48-hour contracts.
