The Role

OWL Services has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist based out of our Manchester, NH location.

Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support office/field inquiries via phone/email/in-person to resolve hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, networks, and email, file, print, and IP telephony services.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of operating systems, programming languages, and hardware.
  • Maintain and track all hardware (printers, laptops, etc)
  • Assist in onboarding/orientation of new employees.
  • Utilize the company's ticketing system to log, track, and resolve issues, ensuring timely support and continuity of business operations
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.

Requirements and Skills

  • 1–2 years supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals; some server exposure a plus.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 Professional.
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office and O365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting standard desktop and line-of-business applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, mobile device management (MDM), and disk imaging/deployment principles.
  • Familiarity with basic networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, Cat 5e or higher cabling).
  • Baseline understanding of cybersecurity principles a plus.
  • Experience with Freshservice or a similar ITSM/ticketing platform.
  • Comfortable delivering remote support by phone and through remote desktop/screen-sharing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal/team skills and the ability to impart information to colleagues with a varied range of computer knowledge.
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through, with appropriate escalation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly; CompTIA A+ or similar certifications a plus.
