Role Description The Experienced Roofer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Boston, MA. In this role, the roofer installs, repairs, and maintains residential and commercial roofing systems, ensuring work meets safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations. Daily tasks include inspecting roofs to identify damage or wear, removing old materials, installing new roofing components, and applying waterproofing and insulation solutions. The roofer uses carpentry skills to repair structural elements, works safely at height with appropriate fall protection, and collaborates with team members to complete projects on schedule. The role also involves communicating with supervisors about project progress, ensuring a clean and organized worksite, and following all safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong roofing experience, including installation, repair, and maintenance of various roof types
- Proficiency in Carpentry and Roofs-related structural work
- Experience with Insulation and Waterproofing techniques and materials
- Comfort and safety awareness when Working at Height, including use of fall protection equipment
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, job plans, and written instructions
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to lift materials and equipment as required
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship
- Effective communication and teamwork skills on job sites
- Prior experience in residential and/or commercial roofing; relevant certifications are a plus
