HVAC TECHNICIAN
Public Buildings – Building Maintenance Division
Salary Range: $36.31 - $40.08/hourly + generous benefits 
The Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across Town facilities. This hands-on position ensures that our buildings remain comfortable, energy-efficient, and well maintained for employees and the public.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems and automatic temperature controls
- Testing and troubleshooting equipment such as chillers, air handling units, ductless and split systems, package AC units, boilers, and ventilation systems
- Using laptop-based diagnostic tools and software to monitor and adjust system performance
- Performing preventative maintenance, keeping accurate records of repairs, and managing parts replacements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma plus additional training and experience maintaining large HVAC systems and equipment such as air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust fans, split systems, and classroom unit ventilators; must have strong troubleshooting and system analysis skills.
- Massachusetts Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC License
- Valid MA Driver’s License
