Position Title: Part-Time School Nurse (RN or LPN)
Work Hours: 10 hours per week
Schedule: Part-Time, School Hours
Start Date: Fall 2025 - Spring 2026
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 medical support for a high school student during the 20252026 school year. This is a part-time, onsite position averaging 10 hours per week, ideal for a nurse seeking meaningful, relationship-based care in a supportive educational setting.
This role requires reliability, discretion, and clinical confidence, as youll serve as the students primary medical advocate and health support during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a high school student with medical needs, including medication administration, monitoring, and emergency response.

Monitor students vital signs and condition throughout the school day, reporting any changes promptly.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records and daily documentation of services provided.

Collaborate with school nurses, special education staff, parents, and outside medical providers to ensure continuity of care.

Support the students access to academic and social activities while ensuring safety and well-being.

Respond to any medical emergencies in accordance with the students Individualized Healthcare Plan (IHP) or Emergency Action Plan (EAP).

Maintain compliance with school health policies, state regulations, and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Current NH RN or LPN license in good standing.

Current CPR certification.

Experience providing care to children or adolescents in school, home care, or pediatric settings.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and school staff.

Ability to work independently and maintain professional confidentiality.
Preferred:
-
Previous 1:1 nursing experience or experience with high school-age students.

Familiarity with school health protocols and documentation requirements.
