Job Details:

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
\n• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative and independent responsibilities
\n• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
\n• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with OSHA standards
\n• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
\n• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
\n• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACS applications
\n• Must have excellent patient care skills
\n• Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
\n• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
\n• Holiday coverage required if needed
\n• 8-hour non-billable orientation required
\n• 2 years experience required with 1 year current experience
\n• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA)
\n• Massachusetts Radiology License required (must be in hand or proof of application)
\n• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
\n• Must not reside within 50 miles of facility
\n• No schedule accommodations or block scheduling available
\n• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted (less preferred)
\n• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
\n\n
