Work Environment\n
This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing the counselor to engage with clients from the comfort of their home while maintaining a professional practice environment. Our normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities\n
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Forte Psychotherapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions to help seniors address emotional challenges related to aging, such as depression, anxiety, and grief.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate comprehensive care strategies that ensure the best possible outcomes for our geriatric residents.
- Educating family members and healthcare staff on effective strategies that foster emotional stability and enhance the overall quality of life of our elderly clients.
- Implementing cognitive stimulation activities and various mental health interventions aimed at improving cognitive function and promoting mental acuity among the elderly.
- Providing grief and loss counseling services to families navigating the complex emotions associated with end-of-life issues.

Qualifications\n
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits\n
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, we provide a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our organization.
