What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a 4th or 7th grade inclusion Special Education teacher
- Work full-time (37.5 hours/week) delivering specialized instruction with accommodations and modifications
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, behavior plans, and individualized goals
- Participate in eligibility, annual review, and re-evaluation Team meetings
- Instruct in inclusive, small-group, and individual settings
- Assess student needs, administer standardized testing, and prepare evaluation reports
- Closely monitor progress through data, samples, and ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families
- Consult on differentiated instruction, learning styles, and strategies
- Supervise and team up with paraprofessionals and ABA Technicians
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE Licensure in Moderate or Severe Special Needs
- Special Education teaching experience preferred, especially in inclusion settings
- Excellent organization, communication, and collaborative skills
