Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide targeted support within a high school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This position focuses on serving students enrolled in a program designed to support high school learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences, emphasizing personalized, skill-building education aimed at fostering independence.

Location: Ludlow, MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 32.5 hours per week
Duration: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (tentative school year calendar)
Setting: High school program serving students in a specialized educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to high school students with ASD and related learning challenges
  • Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to enhance service delivery and student outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on communication, social skills, and independence
  • Participate in team meetings, collaborate with educators, and maintain thorough documentation in alignment with state requirements
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet unique student needs in a non-traditional classroom setting

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state certification/licensure for School Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or required by state standards
  • Experience working with adolescents, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorders or similar learning differences
  • Ability to supervise support staff effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to educational environments
