A contract opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services at two charter school locations near Swanzey, NH. The role is part-time, supporting both the Gathering Waters campus and Surry Village charter campuses (upper campus for grade 5 in Keene; lower campus for grades 1 & 2 in Surry, just 15 minutes apart). The director is open to collaborating on scheduling, making this a great fit for those seeking flexibility.
The position entails approximately 110 service hours for the remainder of the school year, focusing on both consultative and direct therapy for elementary and intermediate students. Consultation and direct service frequencies are clearly outlined, ensuring a structured workload and clear expectations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Occupational Therapist certification for New Hampshire
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting is strongly preferred
- Skilled in providing both direct and consultative services to students and staff
- Comfortable traveling between sites in Keene and Surry
- Organized, communicative, and flexible with scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Deliver scheduled direct OT interventions across the two charter school locations
- Provide consultation services to staff, families, and students per outlined frequency
- Coordinate with special education teams to ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Maintain clear, timely records of service delivery and student progress
- Travel between Keene and Surry as needed to meet service minutes
