What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma (no additional certifications or higher education required)
- Experience assisting in school or classroom environments is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff
- Dependability, patience, and adaptability in fast-paced educational settings
- Ability to provide three professional references, including your most recent manager
What you’ll do:
- Offer personalized support in 1:1 roles and assist classroom teachers with daily instruction
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment to encourage student participation
- Help implement educational and behavioral plans as directed by certified staff
- Encourage positive interactions and model appropriate behaviors for students
- Support students’ daily routines and promote their independence
This contract position runs through June 16, 2027, at 32.5 hours per week. Choose from middle school hours (7:10am–2:10pm) or high school hours (7:30am–2:30pm), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day.
