Do baby giggles, tummy time, silly songs, and celebrating tiny milestones sound like a pretty great workday?

Bright Ideas Childcare is looking for a warm, playful, nurturing Infant Teacher who genuinely loves working with babies. We want someone who gets down on the floor, follows each baby’s individual needs, and understands that feeding, comforting, playing, and talking with infants are all important parts of early learning.


What You’ll Do

  • Create a safe, loving, and fun infant classroom
  • Plan purposeful activities that support development
  • Spend plenty of time on the floor talking, singing, reading, and playing
  • Provide attentive feeding, diapering, and nap care while following safe-sleep practices
  • Keep Brightwheel updated in real time with bottles, diapers, naps, photos, and family updates
  • Complete required developmental documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom
  • Build strong relationships with families and your teaching team

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who is nurturing, playful, dependable, organized, and attentive. You should genuinely enjoy working with babies, be comfortable managing individual schedules, and understand the importance of consistency and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Meet Massachusetts EEC requirements for Qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant Infant/ Toddler classroom experience

Job Requirements

  • Provide nurturing, attentive care while actively engaging with infants throughout the day
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support development and learning
  • Feed, diaper, comfort, and help infants sleep according to their individual schedules
  • Follow all safe sleep, supervision, health, and safety procedures
  • Get on the floor to play, read, sing, talk, and interact with infants
  • Keep Brightwheel updated throughout the day with feedings, diapers, naps, photos, and family updates
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
  • Communicate positively with families and work as a team with other teachers
  • Be able to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, stand, and lift and carry children up to 25 lbs. throughout the day
