Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across two school sites situated conveniently near one another. The focus is on providing physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 10-12 students from PreK through 12th grade, with the majority at the elementary level and some consultation at the high school.
Key Qualifications:
- Active MA Physical Therapist license required
- Demonstrated school-based physical therapy experience is essential
- Availability to start as soon as possible and commit through June 18, 2027
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct PT services and consultation for PreK-12 students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and document IEP goals
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and provide detailed recommendations
- Serve primarily at the elementary site, with some visits to the high school for consults
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and families
Position Details:
- Contract position with an immediate start date through June 18, 2027
- Work approximately 1.5 days per week (1-2 days weekly)
- Typical hours are 8:15 AM – 2:30 PM, accommodating part-time schedules
- Support students at two neighboring school sites, simplifying daily transition
