Key Qualifications:
- Active Psychologist certification in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an elementary school setting
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for support
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Support crisis intervention efforts and offer behavioral recommendations
- Keep thorough records and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
