Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct client assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based practices, facilitating pre-crisis and crisis planning.

• Provide thorough documentation of client interactions and maintain punctuality in meeting all regulatory standards.

\n

• Utilize validated screening tools to accurately assess clients’ needs as indicated by the clinical team, ensuring optimal treatment alignment.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that are tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold our commitment to quality service delivery and compliance.

• Act as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering inter-agency collaboration when necessary.

• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, promoting transparency to meet contractual obligations and enhance community relationships.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with local, state, federal, and non-profit organizations to promote our programs and explore opportunities for expanded partnerships and funding.

• Participate in active professional development initiatives including attending conferences, workshops, and state-level meetings to sharpen your expertise.

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, tailored to the needs of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele that may include adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various emotional and psychological challenges. Our services aim to foster wellness by catering to individuals experiencing mental illness, trauma, substance use disorders, and other life stressors, all while ensuring a culturally competent approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is essential for this position.

• Proof of an Independent LMHC license is required to practice within the state of Massachusetts.

• Familiarity with at least one evidence-based therapeutic approach or model, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
