Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Physical Therapy services to K-12 students as leave coverage from November to March. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
- Previous school-based experience preferred, or strong pediatric background
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse needs across K-12 age groups
- Effective collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students to address motor skills, mobility, and functional independence within the school setting
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments
- Document progress, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with families and caregivers regarding exercises and goals
- Maintain compliance with all district and state regulations regarding PT services
