Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position supports a preschool student in a K-12 school setting, working primarily within both intensive needs and general education preschool classrooms. The role is part-time, Monday through Thursday, totaling 23 hours per week from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM. The assignment runs as a contract from the start date ASAP through June 17, 2026, located in Hollis, NH.
Key responsibilities include providing paraprofessional support tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities, assisting teachers in managing classroom activities, and adapting flexibly to any necessary classroom rearrangements. The candidate must be comfortable working with the special education population and collaborate closely with education staff in delivering high-quality support.
Qualifications and experience:
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related professional experience
- ABA training or hands-on experience with Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
- High school diploma minimum
- Reliable transportation for daily commute
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting and onboarding process
- One completed professional reference required prior to placement
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
