Key Qualifications:
- Active state Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
- Comfortable working with middle and high school populations; school-based experience preferred
- Skilled in conducting evaluations and developing IEP goals tailored to student needs
- Experience delivering direct therapy services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop OT goals as part of the IEP process
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student engagement and participation
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes according to district and state guidelines
- Support teams in implementing accommodations and modifications within the classroom setting
- Utilize creative interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and daily living skill needs
