Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide direct support and expertise to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. In this contract role, you'll play an essential part in fostering student growth and success, applying your specialized knowledge to help learners overcome communication challenges in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid New Hampshire SLP license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to serve students from elementary through high school age groups
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students needing speech and language support
- Develop and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Deliver direct therapy services individually or in small groups, as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation
- Consult with educators and staff to support classroom accommodations and modifications
- Communicate effectively with families, providing updates and resources to facilitate further development
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and professional development activities
