As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and safety. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
• Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Support discharge planning to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Massachusetts OT license (or eligibility)
• NBCOT certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
