Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position requiring a MA RN license, BLS certification, and Epic experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Nursing Float Pool covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
- 12-hour day shifts
- Float as needed to additional facilities, including Addison Gilbert Hospital
- Patient care requires use of Epic EMR
- 4-week contract assignment
- No local candidates permitted according to a 50-mile radius rule
- Perform comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a float pool setting
- Testing modules must be completed as part of orientation
- Return-to-work (RTO) must be disclosed for consideration
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license (pending license at time of consideration is accepted)
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a tele/ECG and medication assessment test upon arrival (1 attempt only)
- Must successfully complete Relias testing during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccine with booster and seasonal Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must not have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the previous 6 months
