Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Worcester, MA, supporting 2nd and 3rd grade students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments. This onsite contract role offers a schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, starting as soon as possible, with an anticipated end date by the school year close or Spring 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of students with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts license or certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities is required.
Prior school-based experience working with special education students is essential.
Ability to work onsite during school hours.
Clearance through CORI and completion of fingerprinting as mandated; candidates may utilize a letter of suitability from a previous employer for fingerprints.
