Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available to provide specialized 1:1 support to a high school student with developmental disabilities. This role involves working closely within a team environment to support the students educational and community activities throughout the school year contract.
Location: Derry, NH (High School setting)
Duration: Contract through June 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (Includes transportation to/from home, school, and community)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support 1:1 with a 21-year-old female student with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with a team including a BCBA to ensure effective supervision and intervention plans
- Support student during school hours with related services and specially designed instruction
- Assist the student with lunch, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and community vocational and leisure activities
- Implement and maintain behavior plans and collect data accurately
- Complete required training such as CPI, CALM, or Safety Care (training is offered during onboarding)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Minimum of 3 years of RBT experience specifically in school settings
- Willingness to complete CPI or similar safety training if not currently certified
- Strong ability to work in a team environment under BCBA supervision
- Ability to follow detailed data collection methods
