Job Title – Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Blood Bank

Location – Boston, MA

Role Type – Direct Hire

Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (must meet CLIA & State requirements)
• Minimum 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in Blood Bank operations
• High attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Perform complex Blood Bank testing procedures in accordance with department SOPs
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results to support high-quality patient care
• Perform and document quality control procedures and routine maintenance
• Participate in the evaluation of new reagents and controls
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to less experienced staff
• Work Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with rotating weekends
• Demonstrate flexibility for overtime or alternate shifts as needed
• Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
