Deliver specialized nursing care in a dynamic Radiology Department serving adult and geriatric patients. This contract opportunity requires a Registered Nurse with interventional radiology experience, ready to provide high-quality patient assessment, monitoring, and education across diagnostic and interventional procedures including Fluoroscopy, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and MRI.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and deliver nursing care during radiological procedures.
- Manage patient safety and emergency interventions confidently.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and policies related to radiology nursing.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on procedures and care plans.
- Uphold patient rights and provide individualized, respectful care.
- Document care accurately using the Epic electronic medical record system.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for submission).
- Experience in interventional radiology nursing or related specialty critical.
- Proficient in patient monitoring and emergency management within radiology settings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teaching skills.
- Familiarity with clinical protocols and policy development in radiology care.
Schedule & Location:
- Keene, New Hampshire.
- Block scheduling accommodations are not available for this assignment.
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of Keene will not be considered.
