A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide specialized support during the Extended School Year (ESY) program at an elementary school setting in Worcester, MA. This role focuses on delivering targeted psychological services to early childhood and elementary students.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 30 minutes of counseling to pre-kindergarten students weekly
- Providing 30 minutes of counseling to first-grade students weekly
- Collaborating with school staff to support student development and well-being
- Documenting and reporting on student progress and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary school populations
- Strong counseling and assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and educators
- Familiarity with ESY program requirements preferred
Schedule and Duration:
- Total of 5 hours over the course of the ESY contract
- 1 hour per week from July 7th through August 7th
