The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting Personal Injury Protection (PIP) team. This position primarily involves discovery, document handling, and preparation of legal materials to support attorneys effectively. The role offers opportunities for skill development and growth within the legal team but does not require attendance at court or client meetings outside the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage the discovery process
- Prepare and organize legal documents and correspondence
- File and maintain court records and legal filings accurately
- Draft legal documents to support attorney needs
- Maintain and update litigation calendars and deadlines
- Court filing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in litigation support
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Proficient in document management and trial preparation
- Familiarity with case management software
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills
