Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating individualized therapy sessions and group therapy tailored to the varying needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Developing, tracking, and adjusting treatment goals in coordination with clients to ensure effective progress.

  • Collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical staff, to create and monitor intervention strategies for complex cases.

  • Providing guidance and support to parents and caregivers facing behavioral challenges in their children or family members.

  • Documenting client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, utilizing secure electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes diverse individuals, couples, and families grappling with an array of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will be working closely with clients of all ages, from children to seniors, ensuring that each therapeutic approach is client-centered and culturally competent.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of relevant experience working as a Mental Health Counselor is required, the following qualifications are preferred:
