Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line and recent trauma experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Cardiovascular Critical Care (CVCC) unit of a hospital
- Day and night rotation shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- Care for post-surgical and critically ill patients with complex monitoring needs
- Advanced hemodynamic, ventilator, and line/tube/drain management required
- 16-week contract assignment
- No time off permitted on December 24 or December 25
- Provide care for ventilated patients, patients requiring pressors, inotropes, and advanced monitoring
- Assist with line insertions and maintenance, manage PA lines and interpret waveforms
- Exposure to ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and external ventricular drains is preferred
- First time travelers are welcome to apply if all requirements are met

- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Must have recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years
- Arterial line experience required
- Preferred: critical care, advanced hemodynamic, ventilator, ICP, and vasoactive medication experience
- 75-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates allowed
