Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Health Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Conduct engaging group sessions that create a supportive atmosphere for clients to share their experiences, connect with peers, and learn coping strategies.

  • Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized counseling tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, helping them to navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing effective coping strategies.

  • Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific needs, ensuring they are actively involved in their recovery journey.

  • Monitoring Progress: Employ various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate client progress, adapting treatment strategies as needed to foster optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Staff: Work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, maintaining regular communication to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each client’s treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic may face a myriad of challenges related to mental well-being, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life transitions. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, providing the clinical support necessary for recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

  • A master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

  • Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

  • Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

  • Proficient in utilizing telehealth technologies and platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
