Inspire. Build. Create. Make a Difference.

Do you love working with young children and believe learning should be hands-on, creative, and fun? Join the team at Snapology, one of the nation's leading children's STEAM enrichment programs!

At Snapology, we help children develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and social skills through hands-on learning with LEGO® bricks, robotics, engineering challenges, and imaginative play. Our curriculum is fully developed—we provide the lesson plans, materials, training, and support so you can focus on creating an amazing classroom experience.

We're looking for an energetic, nurturing educator who enjoys working with preschool-aged children and wants to make a lasting impact every day.

What You'll Do

  • Lead engaging, hands-on STEAM classes for children ages 3–6.
  • Develop and deliver a cohesive, developmentally appropriate learning experience by organizing Snapology curriculum and materials into a logical sequence that builds children's knowledge, confidence, and skills over time.
  • Create a fun, safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment where every child feels successful.
  • Confidently and independently manage groups of up to 8–10 toddlers and preschool-aged children.
  • Adapt activities to meet the developmental needs and learning styles of individual students.
  • Prepare for each class by reviewing curriculum and completing provided training.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and represent Snapology with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Maintain classroom organization, equipment, and teaching materials.
  • Occasionally teach at local partner schools and community locations (within approximately 20 miles of Dover).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (ages 2–6) in a preschool, childcare center, classroom, camp, or similar setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to confidently lead groups of young children.
  • Patient, energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Snapology team.
  • Must be available 3–4 weekdays (Monday–Friday) from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM and occasional 2-4 hours on the weekend for toddler birthday parties.
  • Current criminal background check and child safety clearances (or ability to obtain).

Teaching experience or an Early Childhood Education background is preferred but not required. Preschool teachers, childcare professionals, para-educators, and education students with experience working with toddlers and preschoolers are encouraged to apply.

Programs You'll Teach

  • Preschool Enrichment Classes
  • School vacation camps
  • Birthday parties and special events

Schedule

This is a part-time position, typically 15–20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours through after-school programs, camps, birthday parties, and special events.

Why Join Snapology?

  • Paid training and ongoing professional development
  • Curriculum, lesson plans, and materials provided
  • No lesson planning from scratch
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Supportive, fun, and collaborative team
  • Opportunities for growth within the company
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact in children's lives every day

If you're passionate about early childhood education and love helping children learn through creativity, exploration, and play, we'd love to meet you!
