The Opportunity
You will serve as an essential heavy equipment operator executing daily earthmoving and site construction tasks from project initiation through successful completion. In this role, you will work closely with site superintendents and foremen to keep site operations running safely, efficiently, and strictly within project budgets.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute precision heavy equipment operation to support site development, utility installations, and civil construction projects.
- Coordinate daily building processes and field activities directly with the General Foreman and Site Superintendent.
- Monitor job site conditions continuously to strictly enforce site safety protocols and protect project personnel.
- Review site activities against project budgets and proactively notify leadership of unforeseen cost impacts.
- Operate heavy machinery efficiently to ensure company performance, project velocity, and job profitability.
- Foster a professional environment by collaborating respectfully with crew members, subcontractors, and project leaders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of background experience in civil construction, utility work, or heavy site development.
- High School Diploma, GED, or completion of a trade-related vocational training program.
- In-depth knowledge of general civil construction practices, heavy machinery operation, and site utility layout.
- Basic computer skills necessary for digital project coordination, time reporting, and field communication.
- Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain high professional standards on site.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment on municipal utility, treatment facility, or heavy civil job sites.
- Practical experience assisting field leadership with project budget tracking and job cost control.
- Active trade certifications or completed heavy equipment safety training courses.
