An opportunity is available for a night shift Pharmacist to support a pharmacy located in the Cape Cod area. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional licensed to practice pharmacy, who is comfortable working independently during overnight hours to ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, ensuring proper dosage and compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and improve patient outcomes
- Monitor inventory and maintain pharmacy records
- Address any medication-related questions or concerns during the night shift
Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacist license in the relevant state
- Prior experience filling and verifying prescriptions in a pharmacy setting
- Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethics
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
