Job Title:School Nurse (RN or LPN)
Position: Part-Time, Onsite
Dates: ASAP June 1, 2026
Hours: Wednesdays & Thursdays | 9:00 AM 3:00 PM
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Nurse to provide 1:1 medical support for an elementary-aged student during the school day and transportation. This onsite role focuses on ensuring student safety, comfort, and access to learning through consistent medical care. The nurse will work closely with the student, family, and school team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care for an 11-year-old student with medical needs

Manage tracheostomy care in accordance with established protocols

Assist with toileting and lifting as required

Ride the school bus with the student daily to and from school

Support the student throughout the school day to ensure safety and well-being

Communicate effectively with school staff and the students family
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- (Licensed Practical Nurse candidates may be considered)
- Experience with tracheostomy care strongly preferred

Comfortable with toileting, lifting, and bus riding responsibilities

Pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
