Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position offers an opportunity to support students in a K-12 school environment in Boston, MA, specifically working with 6th-12th grade students. The role requires delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with moderate to severe disabilities, fostering an inclusive setting that promotes educational growth and personal development.

Duration: School Year Contract
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of special education teaching experience
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher Certification (Grades 6-12)
- Expertise in moderate/mild/severe disabilities instruction
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state standards
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Monitor and assess student performance and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
