Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Travel Contract
Shift: Day
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
On-Call: Required in rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay Rate:
Travel Rate: $3,398.5 per week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking EP Tech (Cath Lab Experience) for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during invasive and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring hemodynamic parameters.
- Operate interventional and related equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide support to ensure safety, comfort, and cooperation.
- Transfer patients safely to and from stretchers, wheelchairs, and medical equipment.
- Set up sterile trays, assist with contrast administration, and maintain a clean procedural environment after cases.
- Support department productivity, inventory management, equipment care, and routine safety checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of 2 years post-technical school radiology experience, or recent Special Procedures experience.
- Current ARRT registration.
- Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS and IABP required within 6 months of employment.
- Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Exam or course completion within 12 months of hire.
Preferred / Additional Requirements
- EP-specific experience or completion of an EP training program preferred for EP Tech roles.
- RCIS, CI, or VI certification preferred depending on assignment.
- Strong knowledge of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Use of lead apron required.
Examples of Procedures May Include
- Endovascular procedures
- Diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures
- Aortagram, carotid, AV fistula studies
- Embolization, IVC filter, lytics, dialysis, Quinton cath
- TIPS, PICC, biopsy
- Drain placement, G/J tube, kidney tubes, and biliary procedures
