As a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students build communication skills and achieve academic success.
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification or eligible for completion
- Eligible for state licensure
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children (K-12)
- Open to both SLPs and SLPAs, as well as professionals seeking travel opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy sessions
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and special education staff to develop IEPs and ensure student progress
- Monitoring student outcomes and adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintaining detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Supporting schools at various locations, providing flexibility and variety in your workday
- Serving as a resource for staff and families on speech, language, and communication disorders
