Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept travel position in Rochester, NH, requiring active NH or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

  • Hospital emergency department setting in Rochester, NH

  • 18 head wall beds and 10 hallway beds
  • \n

  • Patient ratio of 5:1
  • \n

  • Variable staffing model with unit secretaries and tech availability
  • \n

  • GE equipment used throughout the unit
  • \n

  • Expanse EMR system
  • \n

  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
  • \n

  • Floating to other units is required
  • \n

  • 13-week contract
  • \n

Requirements\n

    \n
  • Active NH or compact RN license required
  • \n

  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI (SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted in lieu of CPI)
  • \n

  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required for ED RNs
  • \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience in a hospital setting
  • \n

  • All certifications must be AHA or ARC issued and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
  • \n

  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
  • \n

  • One professional reference required
  • \n

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
