Provider Will Float Between Two Hospital Locations

Primary Coverage Need: Night Shifts

Compensation: Hourly - $350/hr, Overtime - $410/hr.

Schedule

12-Hour, 11-Hour, and 8-Hour Shifts Available

Night Shift Availability Is the Highest Priority

Provider Must Provide Availability at Time of Presentation

Patient Population / Volume

Approximately 30% of Emergency Department Patients Are Admitted to the Hospital

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Emergency Medicine Physician Coverage

Evaluate and Manage Emergency Department Patients

Monitor and Supervise Paramedics / Ambulance Services by Radio

Emergency Medicine Physician Is Not Responsible for Codes

Admissions Are Managed by the Hospitalist or Admitting Service

Deliveries Are Sent Directly to Labor & Delivery

30-Minute Response Time Required for On-Call Physicians

Clinical Support

APP Coverage Available

Hospitalist / Admitting Service Manages Admissions

Requirements

ABEM Board Certified OR Board Eligible Within 5 Years of Residency - Required

Massachusetts Medical License - Highly Preferred

Massachusetts-Licensed Providers Will Be Prioritized

BLS - Required

ACLS - Required

ATLS - Required

Clean Background - Required for Expedited Credentialing

Local Provider - Required

Provider Must Be Able to Travel Between Assigned Hospital Locations

Availability Must Be Provided at Time of Presentation

Self-Query NPDB Report Dated Within the Current Month - Required at Presentation

Credentialing

Temporary Privileges Available

Clean Background Required for Expedited Credentialing
