Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Opportunity available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. These full-time, contract leave positions are located at secondary and middle school levels, offering a meaningful role in shaping student success.
Locations and Assignments:
- Two full-time teachers at a high school serving grades 9-12, with schedules from 7:30 AM to 2:10 PM. Positions are available through June 2026.
- One full-time teacher at a middle school serving grades 6-8, with a schedule from 7:50 AM to 2:40 PM. Position is available through March 2026.
Qualifications:
- Valid Moderate Special Education license.
- Experience working with secondary level students.
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborative approach with students, families, and school staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate disabilities.
- Design and adapt curriculum to meet individual learning goals.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
