Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across elementary and high school environments! Two full-time Occupational Therapists are needed for the 2026–2027 academic year with placements beginning as soon as possible. This opportunity spans two vibrant schools serving an enthusiastic K–12 population of 30–40 students in total.
You'll play an essential role in helping students maximize their potential, working both independently and collaboratively with school staff. Candidates with direct school-based OT experience are highly encouraged to apply. Flexibility is key, as the position involves supporting diverse learners across both elementary and high school settings.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior school-based OT experience preferred (COTA not considered at this time)
- Ability to commit to full-time hours (35–37.5 hours per week)
- Experience or willingness to work with a full K–12 caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable and open to varying student needs and school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students from elementary through high school
- Serve approximately 30–40 students across two school sites
- Evaluate student needs, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, educational teams, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to the multidisciplinary team
